Pam Langmead

In June 2003 I joined the Local Authority Clerking Agency and currently clerk two Governing Bodies as well as managing (and clerking for) the Essex Primary Heads’ Association.

As part of my job as a tutor for Essex Governor Services I run the Clerks’ Induction training in the county and I am an assessor for the national BTEC Award for Clerks.

In addition, the experience I have gained as a Chair of Governors at a large primary school in the South-East of the county since 2000 complements my role as Clerk to other Governing Bodies.

I am very proud to have been re-elected as Chair of the  Essex Clerks’ Association for our third year. I’m really excited about the potential that this group has to support clerks, and the opportunities that the association gives to share the invaluable experience and knowledge that clerks in Essex have built up over so many years.

I'd be pleased to welcome any new clerks who would like to shadow me at one of my two primary schools in the East of Essex.
