Chris Kitchin

I joined the Essex Clerking Agency about 2 years ago having worked as a teacher and lecturer before setting up my own educational consultancy. I continue to work for an Examination Body as an External Verifier/Writer and Trainer. I currently clerk for about 12 schools and would be happy to be "shadowed" by a new Clerk.

I completed my BTEC award “Clerk to Governors” in 2007 and I am very keen to see the Essex Clerk’s Association supporting all clerks who work in geographical Essex. This includes encouraging clerks to undertake as much training as possible to help them cope with an increasingly complicated role in working with Governing Bodies.
